Clementine's Townhouse Hotel in York has launched a chocolate orange themed room following the property's million-pound renovation.
The hotel opened its doors in June 2021 following the refit, and offers 28 individually decorated bedrooms. Described as "York’s newest boutique hotel," the property boasts "4-star luxury accommodation" and a design vision that sees Parisian chic blended with Yorkshire Victorian heritage.
As a nod to the area's food manufacturing heritage, there's a few sweet rooms in the hotel, including the After Eight Suite and the Rowntree Suite. But its latest addition, the Chocolate Orange Room, that sounds the most delicious.
It's a hotel room with a design brief that pays homage to the iconic chocolate orange while remaining true to the chic design brief. There's a mix of patterns and heavy fabrics in the room, but it's the four poster bed and two-person Jacuzzi bath that sit as focal points in the room.
Guests will receive chocolate orange themed gifts upon arrival too.
A series of themed chocolate cocktails have also been created by Clementine’s in-house mixologist. Drinks are available through room service or in the hotel bar. Sip on a Chocolate Orange Daiquiri or an After Eight Mojito.

The Chocolate Orange Room at Clementine's Townhouse Hotel is ideal for a romantic couple's weekend getaway in York. Located in the Clifton area of the city, the property is around a 15-minute walk from both the city centre and the train station.

The chocolate orange room isn't available to reserve on the Clementine's Townhouse Hotel website. It's one of five rooms listed as a Four Poster Room on the website (Tooty Frootie, The Matchmaker, The Yorkie, The Fruit Pastille, and The Chocolate Orange), and booking online nets you a lucky dip of one of those five rooms.
