I received a Tweet and email from television production company Twofour with details of a new television programme in the works:

Twofour is the production company behind hit TV shows such as the BBC's Hairy Bikers Route 66 (it's great to see this duo back on the telly again), Channel 4's Beat The Chef, Channel 5's The Hotel Inspector, and countless others.
Now, the company is seeking "chocoholics" who "love sharing chocolate creations with friends and family" to take part in a new TV competition.
While exact details of the show aren't yet available publicly, the production company has disclosed it is putting together "a brand new competition show all about chocolate."
A spokeswoman for Twofour told me the programme will air on one of the main channels (I read that as either the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, or Channel 5) and is "a competition style show in which amateur chocolate enthusiasts will compete against each other to win a once in a lifetime opportunity."
No television experience is necessary for this amateur competition, and the only requirement at this stage is that you have to be "crazy about chocolate" (aren't we all?).
It should be noted that the programme is currently in 'potential' development, so there's a small chance it may not see the light of day. But we're a nation of chocoholics and so I suspect it'll be on our screens in the very near future.
If you are interested, send an email to chocolate@twofour.co.uk to find out more.
Best of luck! Let me know if you apply in the comments below.
