Whittard of Chelsea has added new limited edition flavours to its line-up of hot chocolate powders.
Complimenting the typical range of plain and flavoured hot chocolate powders, these limited edition tubs and tins are only available for a short period. Different to the standard flavours (think mint, salted caramel, chilli, and the like), these short run hot chocolates let us try something a little bit different.
Here's a run-down of what's new in the limited edition collection.

1 Marzipan Hot Chocolate

Marzipan: good. Hot chocolate: good. Marzipan hot chocolate: <insert drooling emoji>!
Unlike the standard range of hot chocolates, this one is part of a line-up of three flavours presented in smaller tins. It's also a little more expensive than its taller counterparts, but that may well be thanks to the inclusion of organic Peruvian and West African cocoa and organic cane sugar. This is then flavoured with a subtly sweet taste of almond marzipan.

The region is known for its large, dark red cocoa beans that deliver an intense smokey flavour. As this isn't a hot chocolate powder, you'll need to mix this cocoa powder with milk and some sugar (ideally unrefined) to taste to craft your hot chocolate.
