Blackcurrant has quite a tart flavour, so it works best when paired with a creamy or slightly bitter chocolate. You’ll tend to find it used together with milk and white chocolates for this very reason, although dark chocolate could deliver quite a complex and interesting result. Blackcurrant is quite a popular flavour in summer chocolate collections.
