How Does It Work?
I receive quite a few emails asking me for chocolate bar recommendations. Readers, like you, enjoy a particular bar and want to find similar bars, but don't know where to look. I can offer my opinion, but I wondered if there was a mathematical way to identify alternative chocolate bars to try.
So, I built an algorithm, fuelled by chocolate bar data. It looks at the ingredients, manufacturer, and nutritional information to suggest a selection of bars you might wish to try next.
Is it 100% accurate? Of course not. Taste is subjective, and no algorithm could accurately tell you what you'll love 100% of the time. It's all a bit of fun, but from my tests, the suggestions seem to be on a par with what I'd expect to see.
All information is for personal reference purposes only. Vegan-friendly declaration, nutritional information, ingredients, allergens, pricing and product weight should all be verified with the maker before purchasing as recipes may have since changed.
