Hot on the heels of news that Nestlé launched White Chocolate Munchies, we've got another limited edition range of chocolates ahead of Christmas 2020.
This time it's the After Eight mint chocolate that benefits from a new flavour line. Britain's fondness of Gin & Tonic - or G&T - has led to the creation of After Eight Gin & Tonic & Mint.

Yes. Gin. And tonic. And mint.
It's "the first ever nationwide flavour launch from the much-loved mint" claims Nestlé. I thought the After Eight Mint & Orange box from last year was a nationwide flavour launch, but clearly it was not.
Sold in 200g cartons, the new After Eight Gin & Tonic & Mint features a gin and tonic-flavoured mint fondant with a thin shell of dark chocolate. The recipe uses 100% natural peppermint oil and is free from artificial colours, flavours, and preservatives. Nestlé claims the cocoa is "responsibly sourced through the Nestlé Cocoa Plan".
Debbie Bowen, Senior Brand Manager for After Eight, reckons "After Eight Gin & Tonic & Mint is a delightfully fresh, zesty twist on a classic, and we believe it will prove to be a very popular addition to the range. Gin O’Clock has officially arrived!"
After Eight Gin & Tonic & Mint is a limited edition product line that launches on Monday 7th September 2020. It will be available from all major supermarkets, Ocado, Amazon (see the range here°), and many convenience stores across the UK and Ireland until Christmas. The RRP for this 200g box is £3.
